VHHS Music Wins State!

The Vernon Hills High School Music Department has been awarded its second consecutive IHSA State Championship!  This championship is determined by scores from two competitions - the Solo and Ensemble Contest in March and the Band, Choir & Orchestra Contest in April.  VHHS had a total of 966 points, 111 points ahead of the second place school in Division A. This score is a new record for VHHS and the second highest point total in all divisions this year.  Congratulations go to the staff and students of the Music Department!
